#London transport always has the best advice - for trains, masks and everything else. (at Angel London Underground Station)

i love london

"Do you want the good news first or the bad news? The good news is that last Friday was my birthday and I hit the town and had a great time. The bad news is that there is a points failure somewhere between Stratford and East Ham, which means we probably won’t reach our destination."  - An actual announcement made by a London tube train drive.

I love the red bus.

Oh, you London rains. I love and hate you.

Saw a sunset after months today. Instantly and painfully realized how much I love them. In a country, where sun is luxury, a great sunset almost feels like hitting a jackpot, yes even in April.

So this man brings a box full of sausages and is eating in the morning train (Victoria Line) where everyone (including him) is struggling to even stand straight. That’s not the problem. Problem is I didn’t have my breakfast.

"Why, Sir, you find no man, at all intellectual, who is willing to leave London. No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford."
Samuel Johnson

Trafalgar Square

It was a beautiful day today and I walked around Covent Garden and as I walked further I reached the heart of London, one of my favourite places: Trafalgar Square. As I sat down to bask in some sunshine the infamous grey skies covered the city and the photo which might have looked happy and sunny looks grey but still pretty :)

Did you know?

Trafalgar Square ranks as the fourth most popular tourist attraction on Earth with more than fifteen million visitors a year.

"Cities have sexes: London is a man, Paris a woman, and New York a well-adjusted transsexual."
— Angela Carter
